“Kwan Yin – Goddess of Compassion”

Mixed Media on canvas – 2008

Kwan Yin is the Chinese bodhisattva of mercy and compassion. She is seen as a protector of women, and the embodiment of unconditional love. Her symbols include a lotus, alluding to her beauty within and without; and a vase, in which she carried the nectar or immortality. She teaches us to live through your deeds; find peace at your center. Live a life of compassion; nurturing, blossoming.
